  • Do I have to pay an entrance fee to move into The Plaza at Mirador’s Assisted Living, Memory Support, or Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation?

    No, you do not have to pay an entrance fee to move directly into The Plaza at Mirador's Assisted Living or Memory Support. There is a minimal, one-time, non-refundable community fee which covers the cost associated with a new resident. The Plaza at Mirador's skilled nursing and rehabilitation accepts outside admissions for a Medicare rehabilitation stay without any cost to you once benefits are verified.

  • How much does it cost?

    The cost of living at The Plaza at Mirador's Assisted Living or Memory Support is competitive to other assisted living and memory support communities in primary market. The monthly service fees are based on two components- the size and style of the apartment that you choose and the care that you may require or want.

  • What does the monthly fee cover?

    You will find you scarcely have to write any checks once you move to The Plaza at Mirador's Assisted Living or Memory Support. The monthly fee covers just about everything: lifetime interior and exterior maintenance of your residence and the beautifully landscaped grounds, all community amenities and recreational activities including restaurant style dining for all meals, all utilities including basic cable (with the exception of telephone and internet connection), weekly housekeeping, 24 hour on-site security, emergency call systems in each home, scheduled transportation,  plus personal assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and assist with medication management.

  • Will the monthly fees go up?

    Yes, it is reasonable to expect annual increases in the monthly service fee to offset increases in the cost of utilities, staff salaries and operating expenses. Historically, the average increase is between three to four percent.

  • What happens if my spouse or I am in need of skilled nursing and rehabilitation services?

    As a resident, you will have priority access to our skilled nursing and rehabilitation services. Our staff will not only visit you if you are in the hospital, but will help you coordinate your care to ensure you have all of your needs met.

  • How do I reserve an Assisted Living or Memory Support apartment?

    Schedule an appointment with our senior living professionals and visit our community. There you can choose the floor plan, location and residency option you prefer. You place a fully-refundable reservation deposit. You do not pay anything else until you move in.
